The TREC Dental Foundation is excited to announce the TREC Community Cares Project. A fundraising initiative that partners with various local charities and community associations throughout Calgary.
From April 1 – June 30, 2021, in addition to supporting our team selected monthly charities, we will be supporting the following community initiatives:
1. Sage Meadows Dental proudly supports the Symons Valley Park Project
A casual game of ice hockey on the weekend. A summer evening laughing with friends around a fire pit. A quiet walk in the natural forest to unwind after a busy day. With Symons Valley Park, you’ll be able to do this and more, while staying right here in the neighbourhood.
Located south of Sage Hill Crossing along Symons Valley Parkway, Symons Valley Park is within walking and biking distance for many area residents and a short, 5-minute or less drive from anywhere in the neighbourhood.
2. Our newest clinic location, University District Dental, proudly supports the UCalgary Fund
Gifts to the UCalgary Fund are a vital source of institutional momentum. Student financial aid, faculty development, emerging programs for students, library and technology resources, and facilities renovation — these opportunities, and many more, are possible because of unrestricted gifts to the UCalgary Fund.
3. Wildwood Dental proudly supports the White Oak Playground Project
Did you know that the White Oak Playground Project is a recently completed First Nations inspired space? “The goal of the project is to increase knowledge of Indigenous history and to give children the opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage of the land which the playground is located on.”
Each clinic will donate $25 from the sale of each take home whitening kit to their respective Community Cares project as well as an additional $5.00 every time someone shares the corresponding post from each clinic’s social media account.
Building stronger communities together!
